"No Rewind" exhibition is here!

Collecting over 30 new works, "No Rewind" runs until August 31, 2024 at Archival Gallery in Sacramento, California. Life unfolds in a tapestry woven from seconds, minutes, hours, and years.

Each thread carries the weight of memories and experiences.

Have you ever noticed recurring themes and challenges in your own life’s journey?

I have.

The constant dance of navigating family dynamics, the imposter syndrome that whispers doubts, and the pressure to stay relevant in a changing world. These are all intertwined with the joys of respecting differences, being a steadfast friend, and embracing the quiet reflection of winter. We battle the pull of social media algorithms, wrestle with staying true to ourselves, and face the gnawing fear of a world spinning out of control. Yet, there's also the constant search for meaning in our work, the desire to connect and be someone others like to hang out with.

These are the threads that form the narrative of this new collection of ceramic work. No, life doesn't offer a rewind button. But as these themes resurface, we have the chance to learn, grow, and perhaps navigate them with a little more grace the next time around.
